A ruskish airlines passenger with 135 passengers crashed in light fog. Also, there were 50 people injuried, including 25 severely hurt. The airplane's type is boeing 737-800.
According to my opinion. the government must increase the security in figgy places. They can make a tower of reminder, etc.
Question:
1. What are the way to increase the security in foggy places?

Hello,
Considering the number of flights taking off and landing every second of the day, in airports all over the world, air travel is very safe. There are more car and motorcycle accidents every day than airline crashes. However, because airlines carry many more passengers than other forms of transportation, a plane accident is always news.
I don't know how to improve security for airliners flying in foggy situations. I believe that air traffic controllers should guide pilots better but in the end, mother nature can be a formidable opponent.
What about redirecting flights away from airports that are experience dangerous fog conditions? or a special light that penetrates the fog? I am sure that airplanes are already equipped with such technology but perhaps airports could improve landing conditions in times of heavy fog.
